The work draws from the vernacular architecture and furniture traditions of northern Europe, where timber structures weathered by climate and time produce darkened surfaces and severe, functional forms

Each piece is carved and worked by hand using chainsaw and chisel. The wood is then treated in heated linseed oil baths, producing a dense patina and stabilizing the surface
