  • Constructed from five joined planks of shurizakura, the tabletop reveals a softly variegated grain shaped by time and use. Subtle joinery along the underside stabilises the surface, a discreet expression of the craftsmanship that defines the Taisho period

    The base, formed in keyaki and finished in deep black lacquer, anchors the piece with quiet weight. Copper elements concealed within lend both balance and gravity, their presence felt rather than seen

    The dialogue between warm wood, lacquered depth, and restrained structure gives the table a composed stillness — one that sits comfortably between traditional interiors and contemporary space
